However, Harold Spitznagel realized the limitations of this compartmentalized approach early on and introduced engineering to TSP in the 1950s. This multidisciplinary mindset encouraged collaboration among professionals with diverse skill sets. As a result, projects are now approached in a more integrated manner, where architects, engineers, and interior designers work together from the beginning of a project.
