TSP partnered with aquatic designers from Counsilman-Hunsaker to give the City of Brandon pool some much-needed improvements. City officials wanted a new play structure, a zero-depth entry wading pool, a waterslide tower, new canopies, and an outdoor deck. Upgrades to the main bathhouse and the mechanical pumphouse were also needed.
The new wading pool is irregular in shape and offers a play area with a beach entry on one side. With bids coming in under budget, a second slide was added to the tower and shade canopies and new furnishings for the concession area were added.
The existing bathhouse received minor modifications while a small 300 square foot mechanical building houses the mechanical equipment necessary to operate the pools.
