The Seasons Hospice House is located in a home that was built as a private residence in 1952. It was converted in 1997 to become the first Medicare-certified residential hospice facility in Minnesota. At that time, TSP helped Seasons Hospice meet state code requirements for a hospice care facility. This effort was unique because it is uncommon to convert a non-medical structure into one for accredited medical use.

More recently, TSP returned to Seasons Hospice to provide a refreshed look that is consistent with the home’s mid-century modern style. In alignment with a project by A.B. Systems to replace 120 windows, TSP provided guidance on upgraded interior finishes, furnishings, and artwork.

Located on 13 acres of woodland in rural Rochester, the Seasons Hospice House offers a tranquil and homelike setting. The interior improvements, in patient rooms, living/waiting areas, and dining spaces throughout the facility, emphasize home, peace, and nature.

This project also helps to build connections between family members and patients at a time often filled with great sadness. However, it is also a time that can be marked by celebration, kindness, and compassion.
