To keep up with the Whitewood city expansion and the surrounding residential community the Whitewood volunteer fire department needed a new site for the fire station. The site chosen allows for better community response time, accommodates all the equipment, and allows for future expansion.

Situated next to Interstate 90 in a new development the 8,700 sf facility includes six vehicle storage bays, training/meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, laundry, and general storage.
