TSP, Inc. partners with Ronald McDonald House South Dakota on the nonprofit organization’s first expansion into western South Dakota.

Providing multidisciplinary design services, TSP is helping to bring the new House in the Hills to life in Rapid City, SD. The facility will provide free lodging, meals, and support to families of hospitalized children.

The new facility will be located at the corner of East Fairmont Boulevard and Elm Avenue, just blocks from the main Monument Health campus in Rapid City. It will include 12 guest rooms with additional space planned for future expansion.

A Home Away From Home

The single-story community residence is designed to create a welcoming, home-like environment and will feature offices, a boardroom, a community kitchen space, dining areas, a coffee bar, youth activity spaces, a reception area, laundry facilities, and additional amenities to support families during extended stays in challenging times.

A groundbreaking celebration was held on Oct. 1, 2025, and the Rapid City Ronald McDonald House is expected to open in late 2026.

This transformational project will help ensure families can stay close to their hospitalized children while receiving the support, comfort, and resources they need throughout their medical journey.
