THURSDAY NIGHT – Pre-Race Qualifier
Kick off the race weekend at the Thursday night Pre-Race Qualifier where the crew connects, the engines start to rumble, and the momentum begins to build. It’s our chance to tune up, socialize, and set the pace before the green flag drops on what’s ahead.

Why are we having an annual meeting?
The annual meeting allows us time to look back at where we have been but more importantly to focus on where we are going. Team members firm-wide provide input and discuss goals and objectives for the year. We encourage you to make time to prepare and participate.
When is the annual meeting, and what is on the agenda?
The ninth annual TSP meeting is scheduled for April 30 – May 1, 2026. More details are on the “Schedule” tab.
Where will the annual meeting be held?
TSP’s 2026 Annual Meeting will take place at Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown located in the Steel District downtown Sioux Falls, SD.
What are the Check-In and Check-Out times at the hotel?
Check-In at the Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown is at 3:00 p.m. Check-Out is at 11:00 a.m. Our Thursday night social is being held at the Canopy Hotel – 2nd floor – not at the TSP office. Please park in the Steel District Parking Garage (prepaid with your room for our event).
How does parking work at the hotel?
Parking is available a the Steel District Parking Garage and is included in the room rate. PLEASE check-in prior to parking your vehicle. Your room key will also be your in/out pass for the parking garage.
Should your spouse/guest be driving separate, please have them keep the parking garage ticket or other parking receipts and TSP will reimburse. The TSP team member will need to complete and expense report. Please try to utilize the option of it being billed to the room if possible.
Day-use parking and street parking is managed and billed directly by the City; the Hotel is not responsible for any charges, tickets, or duplicate billing that may result from use of City-managed spaces. Please keep your receipts and you can get reimbursed.
Why was this location selected?
With a strong focus on community, we want to host our annual meetings in the communities in which we have offices. This allows us to better understand our communities and how to make them better.
Who can attend the annual meeting?
All TSP team members and their significant other/spouse or guest are highly encouraged to attend and participate in all events and activities.
What is the dress code?
We encourage participants to dress in business-casual attire for all daytime events. For Friday evening we are encouraging the NASCAR theme and you can see some dress mood boards on the RACE SCHEDULE tab.
Where can I park for Thursday night’s social?
Thursday’s social is at the Hotel – 2nd Floor – this year, so parking will be at the Steel District Parking Garage (and is included in the room rate).
What can I expect from Friday night’s entertainment?

How should I log my time and expenses related to this meeting?
TIME
Please log your time under your appropriate “General” category for the following days:
- Thursday – Include both work time + travel time
- Friday – 8 hours
- Saturday – Travel time
For example, technical staff should log time under Tech Office – General, and administrative team members under Admin – General.
If you are an hourly team member, please be sure to adjust your time entries across both weeks to avoid incurring overtime.
EXPENSES
Meals will be provided during the event; if you incur meals while traveling, those can be expensed. Mileage – If you are not traveling via company car, TSP will reimburse you mileage at $0.30 per mile.
Hotel Rooms – arrangements will be made for you and paid via company credit card, you should not have to worry about this unless you have incidentals.

What should I get out of the annual meeting?
