Fernando Arechiga cares about the quality of his work and is motivated to learn something new every day. With significant experience in the construction industry, Fernando enjoys using his strong problem-solving skills to navigate between digital models and the built environment. He does so with an extensive understanding of materials, project management, and process improvements. Giving back to others has always been important to Fernando. In high school, he volunteered every summer with a church group that took mission trips in Mexico. The group would build houses for families who were living in cardboard boxes. These days, Fernando enjoys participating in his child’s school activities. “Intergalactic” by the Beastie Boys is the song that never gets old. “It gets me motivated to complete any task,” Fernando says. And if stranded on a deserted island, Fernando would want access to a Bear Grylls Survival Guide and Popular Mechanics, to help him figure out a way to get home.
