When life gave Susan Kennedy lemons—the manufacturing company where she had worked for 20 years closed—she made lemonade. She returned to school and obtained a two-year degree in accounting. As an accountant with TSP, she enjoys paying attention to detail and completing daily tasks that keep mistakes at a minimum. “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the services of others,” she believes, and she volunteers at The Banquet and the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. She cares about family, pets, friends, well being, and global warming. Put her on a desert island with “Little Women,” “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and the Bible, and she can pass the time easily.
