TSP, Inc. is pleased to announce that Seth Harwood has passed the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) and received his license as a Registered Architect in South Dakota.

The ARE is developed and administered by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. The exam assesses candidates’ knowledge and skills related to the practice of architecture and consists of multiple divisions covering key aspects of professional practice. Successful completion requires significant preparation and dedication.

To qualify, candidates must earn a professional degree from a program accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board, such as a Bachelor of Architecture or a Master of Architecture, and meet the experience requirement for their state.

Harwood joined TSP in 2025. He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from South Dakota State University, a master’s degree in fine arts from the Academy of Art University, and a master’s degree in architecture from Boston Architectural College.

Based in TSP’s office in Rapid City, Harwood is also an accomplished artist and previously served as an adjunct fine arts professor at Black Hills State University.
