Mechanical Engineer-in-Training Jenna Harrison appreciates the opportunity to participate in projects that positively impact local communities. School and health care projects are especially meaningful for Jenna because of the noticeable impact these facilities have on their users in providing better environments for education and healing.

In school, Jenna always liked math and physics. A high school teacher also helped her and many of her classmates realize multiple opportunities within the engineering field. This knowledge, combined with a desire to help others, made mechanical engineering the right choice for a rewarding profession.

Music has always been a significant part of Jenna’s life. She plays the piano and the flute, and she spent five years as a flute player with the Rapid City Municipal Band. Jenna also enjoys cooking and hiking.
