So while his firm is gearing up to celebrate its 90th anniversary, CEO Jared Nesje is using lessons from its past to plot the future. “I think we’ve renewed ourselves,” Nesje said of the full-service integrated architecture, engineering, and planning group. “Our company is old, but our culture is new because of the people we have today. The youngest architect in our office believes we do it different here. We’re designing with you, not for you. We care about our communities, and that comes through in our work for clients and how we care for one another. We say it’s a family, and we mean it.”

TSP awards prize money to Andes Central School

Prize money from a contest that sought outstanding building projects using propane for fuel was awarded to the Andes Central School District of Lake Andes, SD, on Monday night, Nov. 11. Jared Nesje, chief executive officer of TSP, Inc., presented a check for $10,000 to Andes Central School Board President Debbie Houseman and the other school board members at the start of the monthly school board meeting.

TSP designs Summit League headquarters to celebrate student athletes

For 12 months, The Summit League staff worked in temporary quarters, hosting student athletes, coaches, athletic directors, and presidents from nine institutions in an area that could be described as a storage unit with offices. That changed in September, when the NCAA Division I athletic conference moved into its new headquarters on the Sanford Sports Complex. It occupies the second floor of a Sanford Health building that houses its new Acute Care/Fast Track Orthopedic Clinic.
