TSP is proud to announce that Alex Kalmbach has earned licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE), officially qualifying him as a mechanical engineer.
Licensure as a PE represents the highest standard in engineering, signifying expertise, competence, and trust.
To earn this credential, an individual must complete a four-year degree from an accredited engineering program, pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, then gain several years of qualifying experience under the supervision of a licensed PE, and pass the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam.
Passing the PE exam marks the final step in obtaining licensure from a state board.
Originally from Rapid City, Kalmbach holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from South Dakota Mines.
He is based in TSP’s Rapid City office and joined the firm in March 2022.
