Architect and Rapid City office leader Mark Averett will do whatever it takes—for clients, for projects, and for colleagues. With specialized expertise in healthcare and education, Mark enjoys collaborating with end-users and seeking their expertise to inspire design decisions. Clients know Mark is accessible when they need him and will hit the road immediately to be on site to address issues as they arise. Mark credits his dad for having the greatest influence on his career. “He made me work as a contractor before I could become an architect,” Mark says. Because all projects are unique, every project he works on is his favorite, says Mark, who looks forward to building upon TSP’s 50-year legacy in the Black Hills Region. When it comes to music, Mark likes too many types of music to mention an all-time favorite song. “That’s impossible as music is in every part of my life,” he says.
